Zoey Dennler ~ Miss Jr. Rodeo Iowa 2018
Zoey is the 12-year-old daughter of Darren and Karen Dennler of Crawfordsville, IA. She is currently in 7th grade and is very active in school. Zoey participates basketball, softball, and volleyball. She also enjoys playing her Viola for the school orchestra.
Outside of school, Zoey is involved in numerous activities. She has participated in dance and tumbling for 8 years, 6 years of which has been competitive dancing. Zoey enjoys working with the Crawfordsville Community Club, which is a nonprofit club started in 2012, that organizes many events in her hometown. Her favorite event is The Haunted Hall, however she has also helped with the 4th of July events, Spaghetti Supper, and Ice Cream Social, just to name a few. In addition, she volunteers her time at Paws and More, the local animal shelter and regularly attends St. James Catholic Church. Zoey is in her third year of 4-H with the Green Acres 4-H Club and Horse and Pony Club. Zoey enjoys showing a mini horse named Tango, and her beloved Quarter Horse, Cash. Zoey also spends time as a member of the Lake Darling Saddle Club, the National Wild Turkey Federation, Pheasants Forever, American Legion Auxiliary Post 352, and the Miniature Horse Association. Due to Zoey’s love of animals, she plans to continue to work with and care for animals during her school years as well as into her adult life. |
