Jordanne Blair - Miss Rodeo Iowa 2010

Miss Rodeo Iowa , Jordanne Blair, hails from Lake City . She graduated from South Dakota State University with a major in broadcast journalism and a minor in apparel merchandising. Throughout her college career she competed on the NCAA Equestrian team traveling the country competing in horsemanship and reining.

She has been very active with horses since the age of 9 showing in both English and western. Jordanne held the Miss Teen Rodeo Iowa title in 2004 and the Iowa High School Rodeo Association Queen title in 2005.

Jordanne states, “Being Miss Rodeo Iowa is a dream come true. I am so excited to travel my state and country promoting the sport I love. As an ambassador for the sport of rodeo I will work to be a positive role model by encouraging more youth involvement and knowledge of rodeo.”

She will compete for Miss Rodeo America this December at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
