Hailey Tweedy ~ Miss Jr. Rodeo Iowa 2016
Hailey is the 12 year old daughter of Jeremy and Jamie Tweedy of Argyle, in the southeast corner of Iowa. She is a seventh grader at Central Lee Middle School. During the school year, Hailey is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, show choir, peer helping, science fair, and is an honor roll student.
Outside of school, Hailey is the president of her 4H club and shows horses, poultry, rabbits, sheep, and art hall projects at the fair. She is very involved with the fair and was crowned the 2015 Lee County Junior Fair Queen. Beside 4H, Hailey also takes part in saddle club shows where she competes in western pleasure and speed events. Hailey also spends time giving back to the community by being a Salvation Army Bell Ringer, performer in the Donnellson Entertainment Committee, and giving to families in need with Holiday Happenings. As busy as Hailey is, she still finds time to have fun with her family. She can be found riding motorcycles with her brother, Devin, hunting, fishing, and horseback riding with her grandparents, and enjoying the company of her friends. Hailey is extremely excited to be representing the state of Iowa and can’t wait to begin traveling Iowa to visit the rodeos and meet new people across the state. |
